Alexandre da Trindade, PhD, Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge (CLAREC co-founder).
The Escola Brasileira de Pensamento Decolonial (Brazilian School of Decolonial Thought) is an innovative academic and activist initiative organised by the research group ¡DALE! – Decolonizar a América Latina e seus Espaços, of which Alexandre da Trindade, co-founder of CLAREC, is a member. The event seeks to foster critical reflection and dialogue on decolonial theories, methodologies, and praxis, specifically addressing historical and contemporary contexts in Brazil and across Latin America.
The submission forms for papers, the research laboratory, and registration are free of charge and available online until 26 May!

The initiative creates an inclusive intellectual space where scholars, educators, students, activists, and community leaders gather to explore, discuss, and challenge colonial legacies, epistemic injustice, and Eurocentric frameworks. The event emphasises epistemological diversity, intercultural dialogue, and collective practices rooted in solidarity and social transformation.
Participants are warmly invited to submit proposals for papers, workshops, and collaborative activities. The event provides a vibrant platform to critically engage with prominent thinkers, develop interdisciplinary collaborations, and explore innovative, practical approaches to decolonial education and activism.
Participation in the Escola Brasileira de Pensamento Decolonial is free of charge, ensuring broad accessibility and engagement. The event welcomes contributions and discussions in Portuguese and Spanish, reflecting its commitment to linguistic diversity and intercultural exchange.
Detailed information about participation guidelines, submission procedures, and the registration form can be accessed directly through the event’s comprehensive and user-friendly website: https://www.escoladecolonial.org/.

Scholars, activists, educators, and all interested individuals are encouraged to visit the website, explore the available resources, and participate actively in this enriching and transformative scholarly event.
